We had a good 1-night stopover at La Gustea Hotel on our way from Sicily to Milan. The hotel is very nice and clean and the hosts are such friendly and nice people, who gave us, and our dogs, a warm welcome upon arrival. The room is spacious, with a contemporary design and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony towards the castle is beautiful. The room comes with a nice and big bathroom. Location is good, only a short walk to the historical village centre. The hotel offers good and safe parking.

A very nice hotel for a short stay, lovely welcome for ourselves and our dog. The room was comfortable, well equipped and we were able to have room service for dinner which suited us very well after a long journey with our pet dog. We had the most delicious home made bean and vegetable soup, lovely wine and the menu was extensive and looked wonderful.

The hotel is very charming, and the staff is extremely helpful and lovely. Incredibly, Mrs. Nadia, we loved how she communicated before and during our stay. We felt very welcome. The rooms and interior are friendly, the whole building smells excellent, the garden is beautiful, and the food is divine. We had dinner there that included the Fiorentina steak; I must admit, it was even better than in Florence. Breakfast was one of the best we ever had in Italy (and we have come here at least once a year during the past 12 years). Thanks for a wonderful stay, we stayed only one night, and next time we will spend a bit more time here.

The property was convenient to everything we planned on doing. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Nadia is an excellent hostess and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We ate our dinners at the hotel and we were amazed at the offerings and delicious preparations. Breakfast was also wonderful and more food than we could possibly consume! I would highly recommend this property. And if our travels require us to be in the Sarteano area again, we would definitely stay at La Gustea Hotel and Cucina again! Simply Amazing!

1. Hospitality by the lady owner and staff 2. Cozy restaurant with artsy glasses, decoration, and music. 3. Dinner was another unforgettable pleasant for us, Pizza with fluent toppings, Toscana Steak, and 2015 Brunelli de Montachhino was absolutely defeat us. 4. The restaurant is excellent with great and delicious food. Dinner is very reasonably priced, offering full value for money. The breakfast is excellent, and the coffee is very tasty.

Het is very clean, big rooms, excellent food. The owner is a nice, vital, talkative lady, hard working. She take also the time for a talk. It is a very good hotel to explore this part of Tuscany or if you are on your way up to north or down to south. Highly recommended!

Good location for those who are travelling around Tuscany. Close to many towns and is easy to travel to 2/3 others towns in one day, and go back to the hotel. Good food (breakfast and dinner), nice room and Nadia is a great host.
